Cat Hai – Phu Long cable car ticket (Sun World Cat Ba)

The Cat Hai – Phu Long cable car, run by Sun World, crosses the strait between Cat Hai Island and Phu Long at the northern tip of Cat Ba Island. It is the quick way across for anyone driving from Hanoi or Hai Phong over the Tan Vu – Lach Huyen bridge, with no queue for the ferry. From the cabin you look down on the estuary, the mangroves and the first limestone islands of the Cat Ba archipelago. The "from" price is the cheapest ticket on sale; one-way or return fares and adult and child prices appear once you pick a date. From Phu Long station a bus or taxi takes about 30–40 minutes into Cat Ba town.
