A six-day winter group tour linking Korea's two biggest cities: fly straight into Busan, ride the KTX high-speed train up to Seoul and fly home from Incheon. In Busan you visit seaside Haedong Yonggungsa temple and the Gamcheon mural village, ride the coastal train above Haeundae Beach, and stop at Jagalchi fish market and the seaside Huinnyeoul village. In Seoul the group calls at the Starfield Library in Gangnam, heads to Nami Island and the Elysian ski area, and visits Namsan, Gyeongbokgung Palace and Hongdae or Myeongdong. The final day brings hanbok dressing, kimchi-making and a light show at a resort near the airport. The price includes flights, the KTX ticket, the group visa, 3–4 star hotels, main meals and a Vietnamese tour leader.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 · Ho Chi Minh City – overnight flight to Busan
The group meets in the evening at the Tan Son Nhat international terminal, and the tour leader handles check-in for the overnight direct flight to Busan. Night on board.
Day 2 · Busan: Yonggungsa – Gamcheon – Haeundae – Jagalchi
Your guide meets you at Busan airport for breakfast, then visits Haedong Yonggungsa temple on the sea rocks and the colourful hillside Gamcheon mural village. In the afternoon ride the coastal train for a high view of Haeundae Beach and browse Jagalchi, the city’s largest fish market. Hotel check-in in the evening.
Day 3 · Huinnyeoul village – KTX to Seoul – Starfield Library
Check out and visit Huinnyeoul, a seaside culture village whose murals look out over the water. After lunch take the KTX high-speed train to Seoul and stop at the Starfield Library in COEX with its thirteen-metre bookshelves. Check in to your Seoul hotel.
Day 4 · Nami Island – Elysian ski resort
Morning stops at a red pine oil shop and a produce store. In the afternoon visit Nami Island, then the Elysian ski area to play in the snow, take photos and try skiing (equipment rental at your own cost; the slopes are expected to open around 20 December). Grilled chicken dinner, then back to the hotel.
Day 5 · Namsan – Gyeongbokgung Palace – Hongdae
Morning visits to a cosmetics store, a ginseng centre and a duty-free shop, then up to Namsan Tower and the Namsan hanok village if the weather allows. In the afternoon tour Gyeongbokgung Palace, see the Blue House from outside, visit the National Folk Museum and stroll Hongdae or Myeongdong. Overnight in Incheon.
Day 6 · Hanbok and kimchi – light show – flight home
Check out, dress in hanbok and make kimchi, then watch the show on a hundred-and-fifty-metre LED dome at an entertainment resort in Incheon. After lunch and souvenir shopping, head to the airport for the flight back to Tan Son Nhat.

- December and January are below freezing in Korea, so pack a down jacket, gloves, a woolly hat and non-slip shoes
