Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1 · Ho Chi Minh City – Beijing – Paris

   The night before departure, meet at Tan Son Nhat international terminal for the after-midnight flight to Beijing. After the connection, continue to Paris, landing at Charles de Gaulle in the early evening for dinner and the hotel.

2. 2

   Day 2 · Paris city tour

   Visit the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Élysées, Les Invalides with Napoleon’s tomb, Place de la Concorde, Montmartre, Notre-Dame and photograph the Eiffel Tower. Free time for shopping in the afternoon, then a Seine cruise. Overnight in Paris.

   Day 3 · Paris – Nancy – Colmar

   Check out and drive to Nancy on the Meurthe in Lorraine. After lunch reach Colmar to explore the old town and Little Venice on the Lauch. Overnight in Colmar or Mulhouse.

   Day 4 · Engelberg – Lucerne – Bellinzona

   Into Switzerland to Engelberg; guests who want to go up snowy Mount Titlis buy their own ticket. In the afternoon, Lucerne’s lake, Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge, then south for the night in Bellinzona or Lugano.

   Day 5 · Bellinzona – Milan – Padua

   Into Italy: in Milan, photos of La Scala and the Duomo and free shopping time in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. After lunch continue to Padua for the night.

6. 6

   Day 6 · Padua – Venice – Pisa

   Take the boat to Venice island (return ticket included) and walk around St Mark’s Basilica and the Bridge of Sighs, with a Murano glass-making demonstration. In the afternoon return to the mainland and drive to Pisa for the night.

7. 7

   Day 7 · Pisa – Rome

   In the morning photograph the Leaning Tower, the Square of Miracles, the Baptistery of St John and the Knights’ Square. After lunch drive to Rome for dinner and the night.

8. 8

   Day 8 · Rome – Vatican – airport

   Photograph the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. In the afternoon visit St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, then transfer to Rome airport for the evening flight to Beijing.

9. 9

   Day 9 · Connection in Beijing

   Arrive at Beijing airport in the afternoon, complete transit formalities and rest in the airport before the evening flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

10. 10

    Day 10 · Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City

    The group lands at Tan Son Nhat after midnight, where the tour leader says goodbye.
