  • Three countries in one trip: Singapore, Batam (Indonesia) and Malaysia
  • High-speed ferries across the strait
  • Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves and Genting Highlands

A five-day small-group tour of three countries, flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore, taking a fast ferry to Indonesia’s Batam Island, then crossing via Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur for the flight home, with group return flights included. Day one in Singapore covers Jewel Changi, Sentosa, the Merlion and the Esplanade; the next morning you visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and the Supertree Grove before boarding the ferry at HarbourFront. On Batam you visit the Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya temple, watch a cultural performance and enjoy a seafood dinner, staying in a 4-star hotel. The last two days are in Malaysia: the Royal Palace, Merdeka Square, the Petronas Twin Towers, Batu Caves, Genting Highlands and the new city of Putrajaya. Made for travellers who love variety and want to tick off three countries on a short trip.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1 · Ho Chi Minh City – Singapore – Sentosa

The tour leader meets you at Tan Son Nhat international terminal for the flight to Changi, where you photograph the 40 m waterfall at Jewel Changi before clearing Singapore immigration. Cross to Sentosa for Resorts World and the Universal Studios globe; the aquarium is optional at your own cost if time allows. Back in the city, stop at Merlion Park, City Hall and the Esplanade. Dinner and overnight in Singapore; in the evening you can watch the light show or take a river boat on your own.

  2. Day 2 · Buddha Tooth Relic Temple – Gardens by the Bay – ferry to Batam

After breakfast and check-out, visit the Tang-style Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Chinatown and see the Supertree Grove from outside. The group stops at a jewellery shop and a medicated oil store and has a hotpot buffet. At HarbourFront you board a fast ferry to Batam in Indonesia to visit the Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya temple and a traditional cultural performance. Seafood dinner and overnight on Batam.

  3. Day 3 · Batam – Johor Bahru – Kuala Lumpur

After breakfast and check-out, stop at an export clothing outlet and a batik fabric shop. After lunch, take the fast ferry from Harbour Bay to Johor Bahru and enter Malaysia. The coach continues to Kuala Lumpur for dinner and the night.

  4. Day 4 · Kuala Lumpur – Batu Caves – Genting Highlands

After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace, Merdeka Square and the National Monument and photograph the Petronas Twin Towers, with stops at a local products store, a jewellery shop and a latex bedding showroom. After a barbecue lunch, climb the 272 steps of Batu Caves and sip Indian pulled tea, then spend free time up at Genting Highlands. Back in Kuala Lumpur, dinner is chilli crab before the night.

  5. Day 5 · Putrajaya – Kuala Lumpur airport – Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast and check-out, stop at a fruit-flavoured chocolate shop, then Putrajaya for the administrative district, Putra Square and the pink-domed mosque. The coach goes straight to Kuala Lumpur airport for the flight back to Ho Chi Minh City, where the trip ends.
