A five-day small-group tour on Vietnam Airlines from Ho Chi Minh City, departing every Wednesday, covering Bangkok and Pattaya with more attractions than the standard route. Your first Pattaya day takes in a light-art museum and balloon garden, the Big Buddha temple on Pratumnak Hill and a Thai massage. Day three is the fullest: a speedboat to Coral Island for a swim, the golden Buddha mountain, the dinosaur valley at Nong Nooch garden, gold-leaf coffee and the Alcazar show in the evening. Back in Bangkok you lunch on the buffet high up in the Baiyoke Sky tower, visit the Erawan Shrine and shop in Pratunam, and on the last morning cruise the Chao Phraya and see the Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit. The price includes flights with baggage, 4-star hotels, meals, entrance tickets and a Vietnamese-speaking guide throughout, with a few stops at local product showrooms. Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 · Ho Chi Minh City – Bangkok
The tour leader meets the group at Tan Son Nhat Airport for the afternoon flight to Bangkok. On arrival, the coach and guide take you to dinner, then to the hotel to check in and rest.
Day 2 · Light-art museum – Pattaya – Big Buddha temple
After breakfast and check-out, visit the light-art museum and balloon garden, with scenes created from lights and digital technology. Stop at a speciality shop, then climb Pratumnak Hill to Wat Phra Yai and its Big Buddha overlooking the sea. In the evening relax with a traditional Thai massage, have dinner and stay in Pattaya; optional shows or night squid fishing are at your own expense.
Day 3 · Coral Island – golden Buddha – Nong Nooch – Alcazar show
After breakfast, take a speedboat to Coral Island (Koh Larn) for a swim, with jet skis and parasailing at your own expense; anyone skipping the island can stay at the hotel. After lunch, visit the golden Buddha of Khao Chee Chan and the dinosaur valley and gardens of Nong Nooch, with a show or an electric cart ride. Enjoy gold-leaf coffee and cake with costume photos, then watch the Alcazar show and have dinner.
Day 4 · Pattaya – Bangkok – Baiyoke Sky – Erawan Shrine
Breakfast and check-out, then stops at a latex products centre, a snake research centre and a leather goods shop on the way back to Bangkok. Lunch is the buffet high up in the Baiyoke Sky tower, with views over the capital. In the afternoon visit the Erawan Shrine and shop at leisure around Big C, MBK and CentralWorld in Pratunam; dinner at your own expense, overnight in Bangkok.
Day 5 · Chao Phraya River – Golden Buddha – Ho Chi Minh City
Breakfast and check-out, then a boat ride on the Chao Phraya, a visit to Wat Traimit and its solid-gold Buddha weighing more than five tonnes, and the Boat Temple, Wat Yannawa. Transfer to the airport for the evening flight back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Can I change the date or cancel?
It depends on the group and how far ahead you tell us. Ask our team before you pay; change and cancellation terms are stated in your confirmation.
