A five-day, four-night small-group tour from Ho Chi Minh City looping through five East China stops, with group return flights on VietJet Air night services and a group visa included. In Wuxi you visit the Three Kingdoms film city and Lake Tai; in Suzhou you see Hanshan Temple and stroll canal-side Shantang Street. In Hangzhou the group takes a boat on West Lake, then stops at the water town of Wuzhen East before returning to Shanghai. The last day covers the City God Temple, the Lujiazui elevated walkway, the Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund and Nanjing Road. The itinerary includes four shopping stops (jade, herbal medicine, silk and Longjing tea) and 4-star hotels. A good fit for first-timers in China who want to see a lot at a moderate price.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 · Ho Chi Minh City – Shanghai
The tour leader meets you at Tan Son Nhat international terminal in the evening for the night flight to Pudong. You land in Shanghai after midnight and transfer to the hotel to rest.
Day 2 · Shanghai – Wuxi
After breakfast the coach heads to Wuxi. In the afternoon you visit the Three Kingdoms film city, where many Chinese historical dramas are shot, and Lake Tai, one of the country’s largest freshwater lakes with old villages along its hills. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Wuxi.
Day 3 · Wuxi – Suzhou – Hangzhou
Check out and drive to Suzhou for the Lion Grove Garden, Hanshan Temple in Fengqiao and the almost four-kilometre canal-side Shantang Street. The group stops at a silk shop, then continues to Hangzhou for dinner and check-in. In the evening you can see the Songcheng show of Hangzhou legends at your own cost.
Day 4 · Hangzhou – Wuzhen – Shanghai
Take a boat on West Lake, a World Heritage landscape tied to many love legends. Next is Wuzhen East, with stone bridges, flagstone lanes and carved timber houses over a thousand years old. Along the way the group visits a herbal medicine shop and tastes Longjing tea, then returns to Shanghai for dinner and free time in the evening.
Day 5 · Shanghai – Ho Chi Minh City
Check out and visit the City God Temple and the elevated walkway in Lujiazui. After lunch there is a jade shop stop, the Jade Buddha Temple, photos on the Bund facing the Oriental Pearl and Jin Mao, and shopping on Nanjing Road. After dinner you head to the airport for a flight after midnight, arriving in Ho Chi Minh City early the next morning.

Prices are per adult for each departure date. Child prices, single-room and other supplements are confirmed when we hold your seats.
Can I change the date or cancel?
It depends on the group and how far ahead you tell us. Ask our team before you pay; change and cancellation terms are stated in your confirmation.
