Day-by-day itinerary

1. 1

   Day 1 · Ho Chi Minh City – Sydney

   In the evening the tour leader meets you at the international terminal of Tan Son Nhat for the direct VietJet Air flight to Sydney; overnight on board.

2. 2

   Day 2 · Sydney: fish market – Opera House – Mrs Macquarie’s Chair

   Arrive at Sydney Airport in the morning, clear immigration and head to lunch. In the afternoon visit the Sydney Fish Market, photograph the Opera House, walk the Botanic Garden, take in the bridge from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and explore Darling Harbour and The Rocks. Dinner and check-in; the evening is free.

   Day 3 · Wildlife park – Blue Mountains

   After breakfast at the hotel, visit a wildlife park for photos with kangaroos, koalas and emus. Lunch, then up to the Blue Mountains to see the Three Sisters and ride the Scenic World railway. Dinner at a restaurant, then back to the hotel or out on your own.

   Day 4 · Free day in Sydney

   Breakfast at the hotel, then a whole free day for shopping centres, pharmacy chains and the Queen Victoria Building, or to visit relatives. Lunch and dinner at your own expense; overnight in Sydney.

5. 5

   Day 5 · Sydney – Ho Chi Minh City

   Breakfast and check-out, then transfer to the airport for the daytime flight home with a meal on board. You reach Tan Son Nhat by late afternoon and the tour finishes there.

• Passports must be valid for more than 6 months after the trip ends; please include any previous passports for the visa application
• The tour price does not include the Australian visa. Vietnamese passport holders must obtain a visa before travel: we send the document checklist, arrange the biometrics appointment in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and quote the fee when booking. Holders of other passports or dual nationals should tell us so we can check entry requirements
• Payment is in three stages: a deposit on booking, a second payment after the visa application is lodged and the balance once the visa is granted; we will confirm the deposit amount when booking
• If a visa is refused, the tour price is refunded minus the application fees already paid to the consulate; other members of the same group who were granted visas still travel on the booked date
• The Lunar New Year departure has its own price and flight times, confirmed when booking
• Group tours need a minimum number of guests; if it is not reached, we will tell you at least 7 days ahead and agree a new date or a refund. Departure dates may shift by a few days depending on visa processing and flights
• Children have separate rates by age and bed arrangement; guests over 70 need a health commitment from their family when booking, which we will explain
