InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has a small bay of its own at Bai Bac on the eastern slopes of the Son Tra Peninsula, with primary forest behind and open sea in front. The resort steps down the hillside to the edge of the sand, so most rooms and villas look straight out over the water. Interiors mix dark timber, white drapes, lanterns and Asian motifs, and nearly every corner is worth a photo. Facilities include pools, a spa, a fitness centre, facilities for children, room service and airport transfers. It is about 25 to 30 minutes by car from central Da Nang, which makes it a natural choice for honeymoons, anniversaries or families who want a few days well away from the city.
