Tuan Chau Resort Halong is a low-rise resort on Tuan Chau Island, with rows of red-roofed buildings among coconut palms and wide lawns beside its own beach. Rooms are large with high ceilings, wooden floors and French doors onto a terrace, and some have been refreshed in white and blue with rattan chairs. The grounds include a pool, a restaurant, a picnic area, a rooftop terrace and conference rooms, which also suits company groups planning outdoor events. Tuan Chau has a cruise harbour for trips onto the bay, so morning departures are easy without a long drive. A good fit for families with children who love open lawns, groups of friends and company outings that need space.
