Vinpearl Resort & Spa Ha Long occupies the whole of Reu Island, a small island just off the Bai Chay shore, surrounded by open water and limestone ridges. White neo-classical buildings, an outdoor pool and a private stretch of sand wrap around the island, so there is water in almost every view. Rooms feature chandeliers and upholstered headboards, many open onto a balcony over the pine garden or the bay, and the marble bathrooms have bathtubs. Facilities include a spa, a gym, kids' facilities, family rooms, room service and airport transfers. It suits multi-generation families and couples who want a few days away from the town, with mornings on the sand and sunsets by the pool.
