Meliá Hanoi is a high-rise on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, in the office and banking district on the southern edge of Hoan Kiem, about a fifteen-minute walk from the lake. The spacious lobby has pillars painted with Vietnamese village scenes, and bedrooms in beige and timber come with bedside lanterns and wide windows over the street. It is a favourite with business travellers and conference groups thanks to its many meeting rooms, yet families are well looked after too with family rooms, connecting rooms and facilities for children. Facilities include a pool, a spa, a hot tub, a fitness room, room service and airport transfers; check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00.
