Silk Path Hotel Hanoi is on Hang Bong Street at the western edge of the Old Quarter, about ten minutes on foot to Hoan Kiem Lake and under five to St Joseph’s Cathedral. This 4-star hotel has a warm golden stone lobby, and bedrooms with striped carpets and yellow drapes, many with a small balcony over the street. Bathrooms are finished in black and white stone, and some room types have a bathtub. Facilities include a spa, a hot tub, a fitness room, family rooms, honeymoon rooms, room service and airport transfers; check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00. Good for families and groups of friends who want to be next to the Old Quarter for food and shopping along Hang Bong and Hang Gai, at a gentler price than a 5-star.
