JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square stands at the eastern end of the Cheonggyecheon stream, beside the old Heunginjimun city gate and about four hundred metres from Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Around it are markets and fashion malls that stay open late, ideal for keen shoppers. Rooms are spacious with wooden floors and windows facing the gate or the old streets, and some categories have a whirlpool bath.
