Nine Tree by Parnas Insadong is right on Insadong-gil, the street best known in Seoul for ceramics, traditional paper and tea houses. Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung palaces are each about fifteen minutes on foot, and Bukchon village is even closer. Rooms are bright with big windows, some looking over old tiled roofs and the northern hills, and family rooms come with bunk beds for children. There is a fitness room, a 24-hour front desk and breakfast; check-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00. A good choice for families with young children or anyone who prefers the old quarter to the shopping streets.
