Park Lane New York stands on Central Park South, the street along the park’s southern edge, about two hundred metres from Grand Army Plaza. It is a tall building, so north-facing rooms look right across the green of Central Park, golden in autumn and white with snow in winter. The interiors are fresh, in warm cream with touches of terracotta and mustard, hand-painted botanical walls and white-veined marble bathrooms. Guests have room service, currency exchange, laundry, luggage storage, a fitness room and children’s facilities, and pets are welcome. Ideal if you want to open the curtains on the park each morning and walk straight in for a jog or a carriage ride around the lake.
