The Hollywood Roosevelt stands right on Hollywood Boulevard, opposite the TCL Chinese Theatre with its forecourt of stars’ handprints, and the Walk of Fame starts at the door. It is one of Hollywood’s long-standing hotels, with a white Spanish-style facade and a pool set in a tropical garden at its centre. There are two room styles: warm-wood rooms in the main building and cabana rooms opening straight onto the poolside garden, each with its own patio. Guests have a pool, a spa, a fitness room, a terrace, gardens, room service, family rooms and children’s facilities, and many rooms include a bathtub and bathrobes. Right for travellers who want the full Hollywood atmosphere, with evening strolls, bars and theatres all around.
