The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles occupies the upper floors of a tower in the L.A. Live entertainment district downtown, about two hundred metres from the area’s basketball arena and concert venues. Rooms are very high up, with floor-to-ceiling glass over the downtown skyline and distant mountains, finished in silver-grey with small chandeliers and long window sofas. A sky-high bar looks over the city at night, and stone-clad bathrooms have a separate tub. Guests have a 24-hour front desk, a pool, a jacuzzi, a spa, a fitness room, room service, family rooms, children’s facilities and airport transfers.
