Hôtel Palais de la Méditerranée keeps the white Art Deco façade of an old casino on the Promenade des Anglais, about 600 m from Place Masséna. The sea is in front and Nice’s shopping streets are behind; the old town and the Cours Saleya flower market are about fifteen minutes away on foot. Rooms are bright and spacious in cream with touches of violet and pink, many with a balcony or picture window onto the Mediterranean; bathrooms are in stone with a bathtub. The hotel has beach access, a pool, a spa, a fitness room, children’s facilities, family rooms and airport transfers. Check-in time at the Palais de la Méditerranée is 15:00, check-out 12:00.
