Aliana Boutique Sapa Hotel & Spa is a 4-star hotel at 30 Hoang Lien Street, on the road towards the hill-train station and the way down to Cat Cat. The façade is painted yellow with wrought-iron balconies; rooms have teal walls and portraits of highland children, and some categories have a mezzanine with a timber staircase. Balcony rooms face the mountains, and on clear days you can see ridge after ridge rolling towards Fansipan; bathrooms are lined in marble. There is a pool, spa, gym, family rooms, fireplaces and children's facilities, with check-in from 1 pm. A good match for friends and small families after a charming, mid-priced boutique hotel close to the western walks.
