Mandarin Oriental, Singapore sits at the corner of Marina Square, with many rooms looking straight across the water to Marina Bay Sands. Rooms are dressed in soft blues and cream, leaf-patterned wallpaper and embroidered cushions, with stone bathrooms and separate tubs. Guests have an outdoor pool, a spa, a gym, room service, airport transfers and rooms set up for honeymooners. The Esplanade theatres and the bayside promenade, where the evening light-and-water show plays, are a short walk away. Rooms are ready from 15:00 and due back by 12:00. Lovely for couples who like refined spaces and want the bay in the window while staying a little quieter than the Bayfront side.
