The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi stands beside Xintiandi, where old stone-gate shikumen houses have been turned into a dining and shopping quarter. Taipingqiao Lake, restaurants and cafés are a walk away, as are Tianzifang and the plane-tree streets of the former French Concession. The curved glass tower has spacious rooms with patterned wood panelling, bright yellow armchairs and windows over the low tiled roofs of the old lanes. Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00. For early check-in or late check-out, add a special request when you book and we will ask the hotel; it depends on availability on the day.
