Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour is on Murray Street on the western side of Darling Harbour, about three hundred metres from the water and some eight hundred metres from Town Hall. It is a 4-star hotel priced below most harbourside options, yet within walking distance of the aquarium, the maritime museum and the restaurant strip. Rooms are in warm grey, with two double beds for families of four and suites with a sofa and small dining table; the restaurant has tall windows onto the harbour. Guests have a pool, a spa, a gym, room service and kids’ facilities; check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. Good for family groups who want to stay in the middle of Darling Harbour on a moderate budget.
