QT Melbourne is on Russell Street, about two hundred metres from Chinatown and three hundred metres from the Bourke Street Mall, in the busiest dining area of the centre. Behind a gridded concrete facade, the interiors are industrial: raw concrete ceilings, herringbone timber floors and black track lighting. Rooms are white with red, yellow and blue accents, bathrooms are screened by steel-framed glass, and round basins sit on dark stone. Guests have a gym, a 24-hour front desk, room service and a terrace; check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. For younger travellers, late-night diners and fans of distinctive design hotels.
