The river and its ferry wharves are close by, handy for a ferry ride across to South Bank. Rooms are in silver grey with tall padded headboards, some suites have a round bath in the room, and the restaurant looks out at the old clock-towered Post Office building. Guests have a pool, a spa, a gym, room service, kids’ facilities and airport transfers; check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 11:00. Suits a few nights in Brisbane on the way to the Gold Coast or while visiting family.
