Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is at the eastern end of Collins Street, a stretch of fashion boutiques and theatres, about five hundred and sixty metres from Federation Square. Rooms are on the upper floors of the tower, with long panelled windows over the whole city and, from some, Port Phillip Bay. The decor pairs charcoal grey with blue armchairs and white beds, and bathrooms are in pale marble. Guests have a spa, a gym, room service, kids’ facilities and EV charging; check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. A good choice for strolling the boutiques, seeing a musical and enjoying the city from above.
