Summer Palace Afternoon Guided Tour

The Summer Palace in north-west Beijing is one of China’s grandest imperial gardens, closely linked with Empress Dowager Cixi at the end of the Qing dynasty. The afternoon tour follows the classic route: the painted Long Corridor, Longevity Hill and the Tower of Buddhist Incense, the Marble Boat and the shore of Kunming Lake, loveliest in the late sun.
