Mutianyu, in Huairou district north of Beijing, is a carefully restored stretch of the Great Wall with many watchtowers and forested slopes on both sides. This tour takes care of getting there: a same-day return coach, a guide speaking English and Chinese, and free time to walk the wall at your own pace. It is the most-reviewed of the Beijing tickets we sell. Options for the cable car, chairlift or toboggan, and the price for each day, appear when you choose your date. Wear shoes with a good grip, bring water, and pack a jacket in autumn and winter, as the ridge is windier and colder than the city.
