Mutianyu Great Wall Entry Ticket

An entry ticket to the Mutianyu Great Wall scenic area for independent travellers, confirmed straight after booking. Mutianyu has steep sections of wall running along the ridge with watchtower after watchtower, red and gold leaves in autumn and the occasional snowfall in winter. You make your own way there by private car, taxi or tourist bus from central Beijing. This is an entry ticket only; the cable car, chairlift, toboggan and shuttle buses inside the area are usually sold separately, and the options show when you pick a date. Best for families and groups who already have a car or a private guide and just need the gate ticket to keep their own schedule.
