The Chaoyang Theatre in eastern Beijing is the capital’s long-running acrobatics stage, a popular evening outing for international visitors. The show features classic Chinese acrobatics: human pyramids, tumbling, chair balancing, hoop diving and the many-riders bicycle act. This ticket is in the VIP section, closer to the stage than the rear seats. Show times, door opening and daily prices appear when you choose a date; arriving about half an hour early helps you settle in. A good family evening, as no Chinese is needed to enjoy the acts.
