SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is the observation experience on the top floors of One Vanderbilt, beside Grand Central, opened in recent years and quite unlike the traditional decks. Its rooms are mirrored from floor to ceiling so you seem to walk through the sky, with a room of silver balloons and glass boxes jutting out from the facade to look straight down onto Madison Avenue. The Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building feel close enough to touch. The mirrored floors reflect upwards, so if you wear a skirt bring shorts or choose trousers, and sharp high heels may not be allowed. Ticket types and prices by time slot appear when you pick a date.
