Dreamworld is one of the largest theme parks on the Gold Coast, in the north of the city, roughly an hour’s drive from Brisbane. It has big thrill rides for adults, gentle rides for little ones and an animal area where you can meet koalas and kangaroos. Tickets are confirmed instantly; ticket types, whether the neighbouring water park is included, and the price for each date appear when you choose your day. Some rides have height limits, so check ahead if you are travelling with children. Arrive at opening time to ride the popular attractions before midday.
