Lone Pine is a long-established koala sanctuary in suburban Brisbane, home to many koalas living in eucalyptus trees across leafy grounds. Besides koalas, you can hand-feed kangaroos on a big lawn, meet platypus and emus, and catch the animal presentations through the day. Entry tickets are confirmed instantly and the price for each date appears when you choose your day; transport from the city is not included. You can usually get there by bus or by boat along the Brisbane River. Great for families with young children; half a day is plenty.
