A seven-day small-group tour over Lunar New Year that runs the opposite way to our other Australia tours: fly direct from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne and home from Sydney. In Melbourne you see Flinders Street station, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Fitzroy Gardens, the Brighton bathing boxes, the Puffing Billy steam train, the Sovereign Hill gold town and an outlet mall. On day five you fly to Sydney for the Botanic Garden, the Opera House, The Rocks and Darling Harbour, followed by the Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Park the next day. The final morning is free for shopping before the afternoon flight, arriving in Ho Chi Minh City in the evening. The price includes international and domestic flights, 3–4 star hotels, meals and entrance fees as listed and a tour leader from Vietnam; the Australian visa fee is extra.
Day-by-day itinerary

Breakfast at the hotel, then photos among the painted bathing boxes on Brighton beach. After lunch, ride the Puffing Billy steam train through the lush Dandenong forest. Dinner back in the city and a free evening.
Day 4 · Ballarat: Sovereign Hill – outlet
After breakfast drive to Ballarat and stroll the recreated 19th-century gold-mining street at Sovereign Hill. Lunch and free time at an outlet centre. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight in Melbourne.

Good to know
- Passports must be valid for more than 6 months after the trip ends; please include any previous passports for the visa application
- The tour price does not include the Australian visa. Vietnamese passport holders must obtain a visa before travel: we send the document checklist, arrange the biometrics appointment in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and quote the fee when booking. Holders of other passports or dual nationals should tell us so we can check entry requirements
- Payment is in three stages: a deposit on booking, a second payment after the visa application is lodged and the balance once the visa is granted; we will confirm the deposit amount when booking
- If a visa is refused, the tour price is refunded minus the application fees already paid to the consulate; other members of the same group who were granted visas still travel on the booked date
- This departure just before Lunar New Year has its own holiday price and terms, confirmed when booking
- Group tours need a minimum number of guests; if it is not reached, we will tell you at least 7 days ahead and agree a new date or a refund. Departure dates may shift by a few days depending on visa processing and flights
- Children have separate rates by age and bed arrangement; guests over 70 need a health commitment from their family when booking, which we will explain
