A seven-day small-group tour of Sydney and Melbourne on Vietnam Airlines, ideal if you want a generous checked-baggage allowance and no overnight flight home. The evening flight from Ho Chi Minh City lands in Sydney in the morning; your first day covers the Botanic Garden, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, the Opera House, The Rocks and Darling Harbour. Next day it is up to the Blue Mountains for the Scenic World railway and the Three Sisters, then kangaroo feeding at Featherdale in the afternoon. In Melbourne you see the city centre, Brighton Beach, the Puffing Billy steam train, the Sovereign Hill gold town and an outlet mall, with one more night before a midday flight home. The price includes flights, 3–4 star hotels, meals and entrance fees as listed and a guide from Vietnam; the Australian visa fee is extra.
Day-by-day itinerary

In the evening, meet your guide at the international terminal of Tan Son Nhat and check in for the direct Vietnam Airlines flight to Sydney, sleeping on board.
Day 2 · Sydney: Botanic Garden – Opera House – Darling Harbour
Land just before 10 am, clear immigration and transfer to the city for lunch. In the afternoon visit the Botanic Garden, opened in the early 19th century, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, the Opera House, The Rocks and Darling Harbour. Dinner, check-in and a free evening in Sydney.
Day 3 · Blue Mountains – Featherdale
After breakfast, travel up to the Blue Mountains reserve, ride the Scenic World railway and stop to photograph the Three Sisters. Lunch at a local restaurant, then see koalas and kangaroos up close at Featherdale Wildlife Park. Dinner and overnight in Sydney.
Day 4 · Fly to Melbourne – city walk
Check out in the morning (a boxed breakfast may be provided) and fly to Melbourne. After lunch visit Flinders Street station, Swanston Street, St Patrick’s Cathedral, the Old Treasury Building and Fitzroy Gardens. Dinner at a restaurant and check-in in Melbourne.

Good to know
- Passports must be valid for more than 6 months after the trip ends; please include any previous passports for the visa application
- The tour price does not include the Australian visa. Vietnamese passport holders must obtain a visa before travel: we send the document checklist, arrange the biometrics appointment in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and quote the fee when booking. Holders of other passports or dual nationals should tell us so we can check entry requirements
- Payment is in three stages: a deposit on booking, a second payment after the visa application is lodged and the balance once the visa is granted; we will confirm the deposit amount when booking
- If a visa is refused, the tour price is refunded minus the application fees already paid to the consulate; other members of the same group who were granted visas still travel on the booked date
- The Lunar New Year departure has its own price and terms, confirmed when booking
- Group tours need a minimum number of guests; if it is not reached, we will tell you at least 7 days ahead and agree a new date or a refund. Departure dates may shift by a few days depending on visa processing and flights
- Children have separate rates by age and bed arrangement; guests over 70 need a health commitment from their family when booking, which we will explain
